Plants
Our Science topic has continued this term looking at Plants. We have explored lots of wild and garden plants. Year 1 had to go find and observe either plant to identify. They then drew and labelled the plant.
English Noun Hunt
Year 1 went on a proper and common noun hunt in our classroom. We had to find nouns and put them into a sentence.
PSHE - We are all unique
To start off our Mindmate lessons we explored the story of Elmer and what made him unique compared to others. We spoke about how our differences make us special and who we are! Year 1 then drew animals and made them all look different.

Spaghetti, Spaghetti
We started this half term by looking at the poem 'Spaghetti, spaghetti' by Jack Prelutsky. We used our senses to explore and think of adjectives to describe Spaghetti.
