Homework

  1. Please support your child by reading at home with them every day for 10 to 20 minutes.
  2. Spellings will be sent home on a Friday, to learn for the weekly test on the following Thursday.
  3. Talk Homework will be given out on a Thursday, because Big Writing will be done every Friday.
  4. Maths homework is practising number bonds to 100 and also learning all the times tables- additional homework may be sent out depending on the topic. Remember to make use of Times Table Rock Stars...it's an app. which the children can access on any Smart phone or tablet. If children forget their passwords, they have only to see Mrs Turner or myself for a reminder.

Earrings and P.E.

I would like to thank all parents, carers and children for their recent response to our request to not wear earrings on P.E. or swimming days. Your support is very much appreciated as I do know from my own experience that it's not always an easy matter to deal with!
