Stone Age

Year 3 have been discovering what it would have been like to draw pictures in caves. They discovered it was hard work as it was dark with only flickering candlelight to shine on their pictures.
Year 3 also became archaeologists for the afternoon discovering Stone Age artefacts buried in the soil.

Stonehenge is one of the world’s most famous monuments. It stands on Salisbury Plain, in Wiltshire, and its giant stones can be seen from miles around.
