Year 1

Welcome to Year 1!

Julia Donaldson Class!

Here is where our amazing children begin their KS1 adventure!

Our Year 1 teacher is Miss Croft. We are supported by Mrs Pawsey and Mrs Carr. 

 

Below you can see what Year 1 have been getting up to with their learning. If you have any questions please come and speak to us smiley. 

 

 

Helpful reminders 

Reading books and spellings are sent home each Friday, to be returned the following Friday.

Please ensure that you listen to your child read regularly and comment in their reading record. Once your child achieves ten comments for home reading sessions, they will receive a 'Superstar reader' certificate in our Gold Book assembly. 

 

Year 1 PE days are Monday and Wednesday. Children can come to school in their PE kits on these days. For children wearing earrings these need to be taken out or covered up.
