As well as continuing to practise our oral blending of words, this week we have also started to blend words to read. Practise blending the phonemes in order to read the words below with your child (it is helpful to model first to your child by playing a game of 'my turn, your turn' so that they can listen to you blending the sounds first):

Challenge:
Oral blending continues to be a big focus for us this week. Can your child follow your instructions when you speak in 'robot talk'? (e.g. put your coat on your p-e-g ... pick up your h-a-t ... p-a-t your head).
