On Friday we will be celebrating the VE Day 75. On the 8th May 1945 World War Two ended in Europe and it was Victory in Europe. We have gathered together activities that you can do during the week to learn more about it, be ready to fly your flags and put out your bunting to celebrate.
You may of course, just want to watch or look at the clips below and celebrate VE Day in your own way - produce a poster, create a timeline .... Use your imagination.
This short film explains what VE Day and VJ Day were, and the events that led to the end of the war.

Once you have watched the clip you can do extra research on the internet and then write your own newspaper report. You can use the Purple Mash task that has been set for you.
Could you be one of the children in the photo?
Use your imagination to write a diary entry describing your day.
