I’m so impressed with the amount of children now reading especially since we have introduced the Reading Stars chart in our classroom. Keep it up Year 4!
On No Pens Day, we had a busy day learning the alphabet in British Sign Language in the morning. The children then had a go at spelling out their names!
We then went on to have a debate – which the children absolutely loved – discussing whether teachers should teach the subjects that children enjoy. The children came up with great reasons for their thinking. Click the links below for some videos of our debate!

We participated in the cricket competition this week. The children had so much fun at each station! Fingers crossed for Cross Gates winning!
