Fun and Learning for the week ahead

We hope you enjoyed last weeks activities and it’s not too late to add pictures of what you have been up to on Tapestry. We really have enjoyed seeing you all enjoying yourselves in the show, if we’re lucky we might get some more this week.

This weeks Talk 4 Writing book is called

“Can you say it too, Roar, Roar” I hope you enjoy the story and join in with the sounds. Have a look at the story map too and talk to your grown up about your favourite part of the story and which animal you like best.

Maths- The Wild Animal Memory Game Have some fun with your child and play this memory game. Its a good way of getting them to concentrate for a few minutes as well as to follow instructions and take turns.

Decorate an animal template

I’ve been busy decorating my elephant template. You can do any animal you like. Maybe you would like to choose an animal from the story. I chose an elephant because there’s one in this weeks story and I have also been looking at a storybook about Elmer too.I have copied some of the patterns I saw in the Elmer book. You can use whatever you like to make your patterns even things in the cupboard like pasta, rice or lentils. I hope you have fun and don’t forget to get your grown up to send us a picture on Tapestry 🐘
