Making a sandwich

This term we have been learning about healthy eating and the nutrients we needs to grow and keep healthy. In Design and Technology, the children have designed their own healthy sandwich and discussed which fillings are the healthier choices. We also learned about bread and how it is made. We used scales to measure our ingredients and used a breadmaker to bake it. We all buttered our bread and added our fillings. Everything got eaten very quickly and the bread was delicious.
