In Science, Year 5 explored friction. They experimented whether it would be easier to pick up a jelly cube that had been dipped in oil or not. They found that oil reduces friction, so it made the jelly cube much more slippy and therefore harder to pick up! Lots of giggles, lots of jelly and lots of fun learning!
