In science, we dissected a flower! So much fun! 
 

Super performances in drama this week! We are really getting stuck into our book - Room 13!!!

 

Ice creams!!! Year 5 had such a fantastic day, so we treated them to some delicious ice creams! 

The return from swimming on a Monday means one thing... FRENCH! We are doing so well trying to recall all the different weather types! Bingo and blooket helped us with our learning - and we loved it! Way to go Y5!

British Science Week fun! How does changing the surface of a ramp affect the speed of a vehicle? How about the height of the ramp? We learnt SO much this week and showed fantastic teamwork - thank you to all the parents who donated recycled materials to make this project possible!

Fantasic efforts in PSHE this week acting out different emotions!

We had the MindMate team join us on Friday for a session all about emotional wellbeing! 

Continuing with Room 13... we used drama to bring part of the story to life!

To kick-start our new maths unit on perimeter and area, we enjoyed using our rulers to measure things around the classroom! We love maths in Year 5! 

We LOVED doing some paired reading to pleasure with Reception to kick of World Book Week!
