Our first trip in Y5 to Leeds City Museum was a huge success, we had a great time, learned a lot, and were a credit to the school!

Friday art is our favourite time of the week in Year 5!

 Poetry day fun in Year 5! We learned and performed the poem Gran, Can you Rap? We also created our own nonsense poems based on Twinkle Twinkle! 

Year 5 had a fantastic afternoon full of art! We explored the technique of chiaroscuro, which means light to dark & got a little messy along the way! 

Year 5 had a fantastic drama session this morning, bringing the story of Grendel's attack to life!

 "I AM BEOWULF!" Year 5 loved acting as Beowulf this morning in guided reading! 

 We enjoyed testing the properties of materials this week in science!

 So much to celebrate in Year 5 this week! Go superstars!
