Year 3 have had a wonderful Ancient Egyptian Day. We have made our own Papyrus paper, done a physically active codebreaking lesson on Hieroglyphics. We explored Canopic jars and mummies. To finish our lesson, we completed a Kahoot quiz which covered all of our learning!

Year 3 spent the afternoon investigating soil permeability. We had to make sure this was a fair test for all 5 of our soils! 

Year 3 enjoyed the challenge of a blindfolded obstacle course! This was part of our PSHE learning on challenges and achievements. 

Year 3 enjoyed English yesterday! We dove into different emotions of how the Ancient Egyptians would have felt hearing the news their Pharaoh had died. We created different Freeze Frames for this.
