Year 3 have started making their Diya tealight holders as we have been exploring Diwali the festival of light in RE

Year 3 had a great time on their local walk yesterday. We discussed the human and physical features we could see, as well as finding grid references of these features using an Ordnance Survey map.

Year 3 had a great afternoon investigating the question: Do people with longer femurs jump further than others?

We have been focusing on the story 'Tilly and the Time Machine' to support our learning we created freeze frames to retell key points of our story.

Year 3 have been looking at past and present maps of Cross Gates to find how land use has changed as well as the different physical and human features we can see.
