Welcome back to another half-term in Year 5! Isn't it flying by? Take a look at what we get up to this term...

In DT this term, we have been exploring bridges! We are super proud of the first truss bridges we constructed with sweets & cocktail sticks (yes we did eat the sweets after).

Despite the miserable weather, we loved our indoor playtime fun this week!

So much fun in drama this week bringing Room 13 to life! Well done Y5! 

Comprehension practice - snowball edition! We love our Friday guided reading sessions where we explore an unfamiliar text, and have fun whilst answering some tricky SAT-style questions! 

In RE, we have been learning about Hinduism, and this week we learnt all about the Trimurti - a superhero team of three Gods! Look at our super freeze frames!

We have been working so hard in guided reading this term so far! We played a 'snowball' game on Thursday, working in teams to answer some tricky questions from an unfamiliar text! Way to go Year 5!

In our PSHE lesson, we looked at a variety of scenarios to do with healthy and unhealthy friendships, and made some great freeze frames!
