In our PSHE MindMate lesson, we thought about emotions and how we show them. We listened to the story of Elmer and thought about when he was happy or sad. We designed our own amazing elephants and role played with them our happiest moments!

In Geography, we have been looking at our local area. We were given maps of Cross Gates and we had to use lolly sticks of ourselves to find places! We were also given a starting and end point, we had to figure out the best way of getting there - making sure we used the roads properly. 

 

As part of multiplication day, we learnt to count in 10's. We created 10's rainbows! We had to use ten pieces of collage paper for one part of the rainbow, then once we had completed the rainbow, we counted up how many tens we had used and recorded our work.

In our Geography lessons we looked at human and physical features. We had to sort out the features of Leeds. 

We had so much fun in our PE lesson! We looked at different balances and how to move across the mats. We did forward rolls, crawled and jumped over!

Today we started our setting description journey in English. We learnt about what a setting description was, then used our senses to describe what we could see in the setting of The Lonely Beast. 

We had lots of fun when Tim from Rock Steady came in! He taught us how to hold a beat and some of us got to perform on the instruments! 

We have been very busy in provision! We have been creating amazing firework pictures for Bonfire night, we have been practising our number sentences on the IWB and also been working on our writing!
