Year 4 Autumn 1

Year 4 loved learning about the Wesley Way on our church visit today! ⛪🌟

The children had a blast singing and dancing with the Wesley team on Tuesday. We're counting down the days until our trip next Wednesday. 🎵✨

📖✨ Poetry Day fun! We loved learning and performing the nonsense poem Fruitytoot Toot! 🎭🍉 Plus, we created our own acrostic poems on this year’s theme — Play — and shared them with the class. 🌟

Year 4 have been busy getting ready for Harvest, immersing themselves into some arts and crafts.🍂🧅🥕

The year 4 classroom turned into 'The Cross Gates House Of Commons' this week! Each political party had to put a 'bill' forward (a law) to the Lords. The Lords then voted to 'pass' the law or 'reject' it. 👩‍⚖️⚖️

Year 4 have been budding scientists this week, investigating how switches work in electrical circuits.🔌💡

In PE this week in Year 4, we focused on improving our throwing and catching skills. 🏉

Year 4 had a fantastic PE session, perfecting their dodging skills in TAG Rugby. In drama, they transformed into mythical legends - the fierce Minotaur and the heroic Theseus.

Year 4 have settled brilliantly into their new routines and had a fantastic first week back. Last week, they had fun playing a miming game to act out their new science vocabulary.
