For National poetry day, we learnt about rhyming words and played a game where we had to stand up if it rhymed and sit down if the words didn't! We then read a silly animal poem and created actions to go with it. Then, we performed it in small groups, each with our own section to learn.
In Maths, we looked at using the number line. We had to fill in the missing gaps.
In our Maths lesson, we looked at sharing equally. We were given counters and model people and had to see if we could share the counters out equally.
We have been looking at what a noun is in our English lessons. Once we knew the definition of a noun, we had to try and find different nouns in our story, Monkey Puzzle. We worked hard on using our phonics knowledge to spell our answers.
In our Art lesson, we listened to different music and drew lines according to how the music made us feel. When the music was slow and soft, we did loopy lines and when it was loud we drew zig zag and harsh lines!
Meet our new Eco warriors! Evie and Louis have a very important job on their hands.
We loved our first Reading for Pleasure session. Lots of books were read and lots of fun was had!
